Dear ORA Members, Rafflesians and friends,
The annual ORA Jog-a-Walkathon cum Rafflesian Family Day Carnival is on this Saturday, 8 April 2006 @RJC!
Come to this joyous Rafflesian Family occasion as RJC celebrates its Official Opening Ceremony, to be graced by Guest of Honour, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
Start the day by participating in the ORA Jog-a-Walkathon at 0800 hrs. It's only a 1-km route. Registration is not required, just assemble at 0730 hrs @ RJC sports complex. Our Special Guests Mr R Mosbergen and Mr Lee Fong Seng, former RJC principals, will flag off at the track @0800 hrs.
After the Jog, refresh yourself and have a hearty breakfast at the Food & Fun Fair Carnival in Block A. There's a whole lot of food and activities to keep you occupied the whole day @RJC till 1500 hrs!
It's food galore with an international cuisine to fill your stomachs from the 45 food stalls setup by students and parents from the Rafflesian schools. There's the famous Kopi Tiam's Kopi and Toast, favourites like Satay, Otah Otah, Curry Chicken and Bread, Spaghetti, Sushi. Snack on Malt candy, steamed Peanuts & Corn, Muah Chee, Tiramisu, and pack away Choc pudding, Rice pudding, Brownies, Cookies, etc.
Quench your thirst with fresh Coconut Juice, Milkshakes, lemonades, soft drinks..
Try your hand at the Games stalls and the Speed SMSing competition.
Ladies, go for a round of shopping at the 20+ handicraft and dry goods stalls.
Dare yourself to visit the Haunted House or watch a free artistic performance "Where?" by the Raffles Players - screening at 1100 and 1330 hrs @TSD Room, Blk A.
Get your Food & Fun Fair coupons at the ORA booth and grab a souvenir T-shirt as well. ORA Merchandise such as the ORA cool-looking Polo Shirts @$20, limited edition ORA/RI crest Katana mock-neck dri-fit shirts @$25 (retail price $50), ORA Car Decal, etc are available for sale at the ORA booth.
Proceeds from the sale of coupons will go to funding of the 3 Rafflesian Schools' CCAs.
